This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible or coolant degassing valve, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05060 Possible Causes:
05060 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 05060 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), electrical malfunction in circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
