05059 Possible Causes:
05059 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05059 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
