Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high is the final reason of the code. |
05058 Possible Causes:
05058 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 05058 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
