05051 Possible Causes:
05051 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 05051 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
