The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault a/c request a, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
05051 Possible Causes:
05051 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 05051 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel fired heater, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
