Staring in engine throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal or diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
05050 Possible Causes:
05050 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05050 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
