Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, internal resistance too largely mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus powertrain, missing messages from steering wheel electronics (j527) also automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
05046 Possible Causes:
05046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05046 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing messages
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
