The problem is about reset-resistant limp-mode active causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ and wait then oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05046 Possible Causes:
05046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05046 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
