Staring in engine data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor torque management request input signal a, range / performance and sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
05044 Possible Causes:
05044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05044 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
