This code were stamped on VW Engine case bank 1; system too lean at idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control and charging system, voltage is the final reason of the code. |
05028 Possible Causes:
05028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05028 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
