This code were stamped on VW Engine case direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control system, ice blockage . On the other hand fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05023 Possible Causes:
05023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
