05023 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low . On the other hand malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05023 Possible Causes:
05023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05023 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
