This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reversing light, circuit open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05020 Possible Causes:
05020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05020 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
