This code were stamped on VW Engine case starter interlock, circuit short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+ and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05020 Possible Causes:
05020 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05020 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
