The problem is about planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high or change tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
05019 Possible Causes:
05019 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 05019 Code
- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
