Staring in engine o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake charging system, voltage low or direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
05016 Possible Causes:
05016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 05016 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
