The problem is about transmission range display, circuit short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high and wait then fuel pump, mechanical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
05013 Possible Causes:
05013 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05013 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission control unit, incorrect coded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
