05010 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold flap position sensor (bank 1): implausible signal . On the other hand reset-resistant limp-mode active is the final reason of the code. |
05010 Possible Causes:
05010 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05010 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
