The problem is about intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cylinder 9 above knock threshold and post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit will delay your vw fault. |
05008 Possible Causes:
05008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05008 Code
- Inspect all the connections water in fuel sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
