05006 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 or ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
05006 Possible Causes:
05006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05006 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
