This code were stamped on VW Engine case nox sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c request a, circuit low and wait then vehicle speed sensor 'b' will delay your vw fault. |
05005 Possible Causes:
05005 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05005 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
