This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low also air cleaner inlet control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05004 Possible Causes:
05004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05004 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator exhaust control 1, short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
