05004 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine injection pump, fuel calibration not learned retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start internal control module, malfunction also exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low is the final reason of the code. |
05004 Possible Causes:
05004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05004 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
