This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit low or change data-bus powertrain missing message from distance control is the final reason of the code. |
05003 Possible Causes:
05003 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05003 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
