When you open secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus engine/engine, software condition monitoring and engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
04999 Possible Causes:
04999 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04999 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
