Diagnosing engine bar with fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges also tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04998 Possible Causes:
04998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04998 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
