The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle control: airflow at idle too low . On the other hand power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high is the final reason of the code. |
04997 Possible Causes:
04997 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction
