Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 2, system too rich off idle or change hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation is the final reason of the code. |
04991 Possible Causes:
04991 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04991 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
