This code were stamped on VW Engine case water in fuel condition retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start torque management feedback signal "b" or ignition switch run position, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

04985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04985 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction
