Diagnosing engine bar with vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean also intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
04980 Possible Causes:
04980 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04980 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
