Diagnosing engine bar with mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low you can see the planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
04960 Possible Causes:
04960 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04960 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
