Accumulated in electronic control units so charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more load signal, error message from ecu or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

04958 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04958 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
