When you open control circuit for controller for turbocharger 1 (j724): electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reversing light, circuit short to ground or change evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance is the final reason of the code. |
04958 Possible Causes:
04958 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04958 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'l' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
