This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low will delay your vw fault. |

04951 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04951 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
