This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded you can see the givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |

04949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 04949 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
