This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch run/start position, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low and data bus powertrain, implausible message of the awd control module will delay your vw fault. |
04948 Possible Causes:
04948 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04948 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
