This code were stamped on VW Engine case malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure, erratic and intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
04939 Possible Causes:
04939 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04939 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
