Staring in engine glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more kick down switch malfunction or control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
04931 Possible Causes:
04931 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04931 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
