This code were stamped on VW Engine case injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground and secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04923 Possible Causes:
04923 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04923 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
