Staring in engine reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass and wait then fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
04918 Possible Causes:
04918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04918 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, heater circuit achievement too small
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
