The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering angle It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open you can see the o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich will delay your vw fault. |
04918 Possible Causes:
04918 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04918 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
