Staring in engine exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 individual cylinder control, sensor dynamic too low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature and wait then transmission control unit relay, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
04917 Possible Causes:
04917 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit / open
