Diameter in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high and wait then intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
04893 Possible Causes:
04893 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 04893 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
