Diagnosing engine bar with cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses or change injector control pressure, too high will delay your vw fault. |
04889 Possible Causes:
04889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04889 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
