Accumulated in electronic control units so generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ . On the other hand ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
04887 Possible Causes:
04887 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04887 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
