When you open please check dtc memory of central electric ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit and nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
04884 Possible Causes:
04884 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04884 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes after kat exchanges
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
