The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start charge pressure fan relay (j712), open you can see the engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
04875 Possible Causes:
04875 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04875 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
