04874 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine a/c control module requested, mil illumination run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ and coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04874 Possible Causes:
04874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04874 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
