When you open fuel supply heater, control circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low also engine torque reduction, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04873 Possible Causes:
04873 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04873 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
