Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust gas temperature bank 2, too high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority or nox sensor bank 2, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04872 Possible Causes:
04872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04872 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
