04865 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit or internal control module, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
04865 Possible Causes:
04865 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04865 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
