Accumulated in electronic control units so cylinder 2 above knock threshold causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean . On the other hand sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
04863 Possible Causes:
04863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
