Diagnosing engine bar with please check dtc memory of all wheel drive ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean also nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04862 Possible Causes:
04862 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04862 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
