This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake cylinder 7 above knock threshold . On the other hand engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
04846 Possible Causes:
04846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04846 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
