Diameter in engine engine coolant level low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, implausible also clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
04846 Possible Causes:
04846 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04846 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick down switch, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
