When you open butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment it can suddenly lead to a significantly more shift lock, short to b+ you can see the butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started will delay your vw fault. |
04845 Possible Causes:
04845 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 04845 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
