The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cylinder 9 above knock threshold the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction also engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
04845 Possible Causes:
04845 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04845 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
