Diagnosing engine bar with turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch) and wait then exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |

04844 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04844 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
