Diameter in engine data bus powertrain, implausible message from immobilizer It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low you can see the secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
04840 Possible Causes:
04840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04840 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
